DU admissions 2025 will be open soon. A few more updates are given below:

  • The CUET PG 2025 results for admission to PG courses are expected to be announced by the last week of April 2025.
  • The CUET UG 2025 exam for admission to UG courses will be conducted tentatively between May 8 and Jun 1, 2025.
  • DU First Counselling for MBA will be conducted on May 1 and May 2, 2025.
  • DU PhD admissions are open. The interview will be held between Apr 28 and Apr 30, 2025.
  • The interview for the Executive MBA will be held between Apr 22 and Apr 25, 2025.

Delhi University UG Admission Process

Step Description
1. CUET Registration Apply for CUET-UG via the official NTA CUET portal (https://cuet.samarth.ac.in). Select DU as a preferred university and choose desired programs.
2. Appear for CUET Exam Take the CUET UG exam with the correct combination of domain subjects based on your chosen DU courses.
3. CUET Result NTA releases CUET scores (raw and normalized) on its official website.
4. CSAS Portal Registration (DU) Visit admission.uod.ac.in and register for DU’s Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). Fill in personal details, upload documents, and pay the one-time registration fee.
5. Preference Filling Fill and rank college-program preferences on the CSAS portal. This step is crucial and affects seat allotment.
6. Seat Allotment (Multiple Rounds) Based on CUET scores, category, and preferences, DU releases multiple rounds of seat allotment. Candidates are allotted one seat per round.
7. Seat Acceptance & Verification Accept the allotted seat within the deadline. DU colleges verify documents online.
8. Fee Payment After verification, pay the admission fee online to confirm the seat.
9. Upgradation (Optional) If dissatisfied, you can opt for upgrade in the next round based on higher preferences and seat availability.
10. Final Admission Once satisfied, freeze the seat to finalize your admission. Classes begin as per DU academic calendar.

Fees Structure (Annual)

DU fee structure is inclusive of multiple components including caution deposit, exam fee, tuition fee, and more. Prospective students must pay an additional one-time fees of INR 50 – 13,900 at the time of admission. Students can make the fee payment via online/ offline mode as per institute set guidelines. The total tuition fee for DU ranges between INR 180 – 5,40,000. It is to be noted that this fee information is sourced from the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to changes.
