IGDTUW has officially taken possession of 50 acres of land in Sector G-2/G-6, Narela Sub-city, for the construction of its permanent campus. This initiative is part of a ₹500-crore government plan to develop an “edu-city” in Narela, aiming to enhance women’s technical education in Delhi.
During the seventh convocation, IGDTUW awarded 922 degrees, including 17 PhDs, 170 postgraduate degrees, and 735 undergraduate degrees. Delhi Chief Minister Atishi encouraged graduates to become job creators, emphasizing the importance of women’s participation in technical fields.
