Uttaranchal University admissions 2025 areĀ openĀ for Diploma, UG, PG, and PhD courses. Interested aspirants can check and apply for their desired courses through the official website of the university. A few more updates are as follows:
- The NEET UG 2025 result forĀ Uttaranchal University admissionĀ to the MBBS and BDS courses will be declared tentatively byĀ Jun 14, 2025.
- The GPAT 2025 exam for admission to the MPharma course will be held onĀ May 25, 2025. In addition, the GPAT 2025 result will be declared byĀ Jun 25, 2025.
- The GATE 2025 results have been released for admission to the ME/MTech courses. Also, the minimum qualifying GATE 2025 cutoff is out branch-wise. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results by using login details from the official website.
- The CMAT 2026 registration window for admission to the MBA, PGDM, and MMS courses is anticipated to open in the second week of Nov 2025.

Scholarship Opportunities : Uttaranchal University
Scholarship to the Sibling
Uttaranchal University awards 10% scholarship on net Tuition Fee to the Sibling for the first year only. To claim this scholarship, the student must carry the following documents at the time of admission/counseling.
- Aadhaar/Any valid photo ID proof of the student bearing the name of the parent.
- Marksheet/Certificate (10 onwards) issued to Sibling bearing the names of parents.
General Conditions
- The student will not be entitled to more than one scholarship out of above-mentioned scholarships. He/she may choose the best or whichever is higher and beneficial at the time of admission. Scholarship once chosen cannot be changed or interchanged with another scholarship in the future.
- The award of the scholarship will be applied to the Net Tuition Fee for scholarship types; Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls, Scholarship to the Wards of Defence Personnel, Scholarship to the Alumni and Scholarship to the Sibling.
- The eligible students are required to submit an affidavit duly signed by their parents/legal guardians accepting all the conditions of the offer of award of scholarship.
- The University shall offer the scholarship on trust that all the documents are genuine and are not forged if, at a later stage it is found that the student has obtained scholarship on the basis of forged documents/false information then, the University will have a right to recover actual fee and may also initiate administrative action as per the decision by the Management against the concerned.
- The above scholarships are applicable only for Law programmes of the University and for students admitted in session 2022-2023. The scholarships applicable to other programmes of the University are described separately.
Merit Scholarship
Uttaranchal University encourages scholarly aptitude in students. In order to recognize their academic excellence, the following scholarships are awarded to students, who perform extremely well in their qualifying examinations.

Conditions:
The merit scholarship will be awarded to students on the basis of their performance in their qualifying examinations if the following conditions are met:
- All programmes/subjects of their qualifying examinations are cleared in the first attempt.
- This scholarship is applicable for the first year only, the students cannot claim the scholarship for subsequent years.
- There will be no rounding of CGPA or the marks in their qualifying examination, for example, if a student achieves CGPA ā8.99ā it will be considered as 8.99 and will not be considered as 9.00 similarly, if a student achieves 89.99% it will not be considered as 90.00%
*No Scholarship is avilable for MBA Executive, B.Sc. Nursing, Diploma in Hotel Management & Certificate in Hotel Management.
Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship
The Uttaranchal University awards 25% scholarship on Tuition Fee to Uttarakhand Domicile Students, 25% of seats for these students are reserved for the entire programmes of the University. To claim this scholarship, the student must carry a valid Domicile Certificate (Original) of Uttarakhand State at the time of admission/counseling.
Hills State Domicile Scholarship
The Uttaranchal University awards 25% scholarship on Tuition Fee to the Domiciled students of Hill States of India viz Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Sikkim, Nagaland, Assam, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and District Darjeeling, Kalimpong (West Bengal).
Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girls
The Uttaranchal University awards 5% Sushila Devi Scholarship for Girl students on net Tuition Fee. This scholarship is applicable for the entire duration of programme, The Scholarship percentage will remain same for “Uttarakhand”/”All India’ category.

Scholarship to the Wards of Defence Personnel
The Uttaranchal University awards 5% scholarship on net Tuition Fee to the son/daughter of defence personnel (including Para Military viz ITBP, CRPF, etc.) for the entire duration of programme. To claim this scholarship, the student must carry a valid certificate (Original) of their father mother at the time of admission/counseling.

Admission Process: Uttaranchal University
Step 1: Registration
Online: Visit the official website and click on “Apply Now.” Fill in your personal details, and you’ll receive a confirmation email with an activation link. Click the link to activate your account.
Offline: Download the registration form from the university website, fill it out, and send it along with a Demand Draft of ā¹1,200 (plus ā¹50 processing fee) to the university’s admission office.
Step 2: Application Form
Online: After activating your account, log in to complete the application form. Upload the required documents and pay the application fee of ā¹1,250 through available online payment methods.
Offline: Attach the necessary documents to your filled application form and submit it along with the Demand Draft to the university’s admission office.

What should I do if I want to change my Program
You have to write an application indicating your new program to Admission Cell. They will evaluate your request and if acceptable will re-issue a new Admission Letter and do other necessary formalities.
Do you accept admissions throughout the year
Although the enrolments are open throughout the year, University admissions are only on the annual basis. You can book your seats well in advance.
Housing / Hostel Accommodation
University single bedded, two bedded and three bedded hostel accommodation with all standard civic amenities and common cooking and laundry areas. Well-trained security staff provide security to our hostel students 24 hours, round the clock. A full-fledged, well managed kitchen is attached to these hostels. Our chefs are known for their multi cuisine culinary talents.
How do I arrange for a campus visit
Thirty-minute walking tours of campus, including laboratories, research centre, library, language laboratory, cafeteria, are accessible throughout the calendar year with a prior appointment from the Admissions cell. The tour is held on the hour, Monday through Saturday, from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
