About CUET

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for undergraduate admissions in participating universities across India. Previously known as CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) until 2021, it was renamed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). CUET is held annually in a computer-based format across 500+ cities in India and internationally. Candidates are given two hours to complete the test, which assesses their aptitude and subject knowledge.

CUET 2025 results have been published online, with scores normalized for fairness due to multiple exam days. Leading universities like Delhi University (DU), BHU, JNU, AMU, and Jamia Millia Islamia accept CUET scores. After results, counseling based on cut-offs set by individual universities has begun. For detailed updates, candidates should visit the official NTA website or the respective university portals. Success in CUET opens doors to top undergraduate programs in India.

By focusing on the designated syllabus, candidates can ensure they are adequately prepared for the CUET 2025-26 exam, increasing their chances of performing well and securing admission to their desired undergraduate courses. CUET Counselling

The CUET 2025-26 counselling registration is undertaken individually by the participating institutes. Following the result declaration, each institute will release its own merit list, containing the names of qualifying candidates. Those interested in admission must complete the registration process and participate in the CUET counselling, which is expected to be conducted online. Typically, there are three rounds of counselling, although the number of rounds may vary depending on seat availability. Upon the announcement of seat allotment results, candidates who receive admission offers must confirm their acceptance by reporting to the respective institutes. They will need to get their documents verified during this process.

For certain programs, interview rounds will replace the traditional counselling process. In such cases, the NTA will provide specific details about the admission process for these programs separately, which can be found in the information brochure of CUET 2025-26 . To stay informed and updated about the counselling process and admission-related guidelines, candidates should regularly check the official website of NTA and the individual participating institutes. These sources will provide the latest information and instructions for the CUET 2025-26 counselling and admission procedures.
