CUET 2026 - Syllabus (UG & PG)

The CUET 2026 syllabus is designed to test a student’s language proficiency, subject knowledge, and general aptitude. For UG programs, the syllabus is mainly based on NCERT Class 12 curriculum, while for PG programs, it covers the core subjects from graduation-level studies.

CUET 2026 - Admit Card

CUET 2026 Admit Card

The CUET 2026 Admit Card is one of the most important documents required to appear in the exam. It will be issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) about 7–10 days before the exam date. Candidates must download it from the official CUET (UG/PG) portal using their Application Number, Date of Birth, or Password.

Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre. Along with the admit card, students must also carry a valid government-issued photo ID proof.

CUET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates interested in applying and appearing for CUET 2026 must meet the eligibility criteria set by the NTA. The key requirements are as follows:

  • Educational Qualification:– Applicants should have passed their Class 12 examination from a recognized board in Science or a relevant stream to be eligible for admission to bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Central Universities.
    – Students who are currently in Class 12 and are yet to appear for their Board exams are also eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit:– There is no specific age limit for appearing in the CUET 2025-26 exam. However, candidates must fulfill the age criteria (if any) set by the University/Institution/Organization to which they seek admission.
  • Nationality Criteria:– Candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible for the CUET exam.

    – Additionally, individuals belonging to the following categories are also eligible:

    a. Constituent subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.

    b. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and have settled in India with the intention of making it their permanent home.

    c. Individuals from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam who have permanently migrated to India.
