CUET UG 2025 Answer Key
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the CUET Answer Key 2025 on the official website. Candidates can download the CUET 2025 provisional answer key and individual response sheet. It is expected that the CUET UG 2025 answer key will be released in the third week of June 2025, at cuet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates must note that they can check the answer key and response sheet only after logging in to their CUET Applicant Profile for the subjects they appeared for in the Common University Entrance Test (UG) 2025, held between May 13 and June 03, 2025 (and June 04, 2025 for CUET 2025 Accountancy Re-Test). The answer key will include the subject code and name, date and medium of examination, and questions and answers of the CUET subject appeared.
If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the CUET provisional answer key 2025, he/she can challenge the same through the CUET 2025 Provisional Answer Key Challenge Window. Candidates usually have two days to challenge the answer key and must pay a certain amount as a challenge fee. After the closing of the CUET answer key challenge window, the National Testing Agency will release the CUET 2025 final answer key, a few days before the release of the CUET 2025 result (tentatively in the last week of July 2025). The final answer key will be considered to calculate CUET UG Scores 2025.

How to Download NTA CUET Answer Key 2025?
Once released, candidates can download the CUET 2025 Answer Key by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website, cuet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “Provisional Answer Key for CUET UG 2025” tab.
Step 3: Enter the CUET UG 2025 Login details:
- CUET Application Number
- Password
Step 4: The CUET Candidate Dashboard will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Select the subject for which you wish to check the answer key.
Step 6: Match your response sheet with the provided answer key and calculate the approximate CUET 2025 Scores.
CUET UG 2025 Results
The CUET UG 2025 examination is currently underway, scheduled from May 13 to June 3, 2025. Based on previous years’ timelines, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the CUET UG 2025 results in July 2025. For instance, in 2024, the CUET UG results were declared on July 28.
Once released, candidates can access their scorecards by visiting the official CUET UG website: exams.nta.ac.in. To download the results, you’ll need to enter your application number and date of birth.
Please note that the exact result date may vary due to factors such as answer key challenges or retests. For example, in 2025, a retest was announced for the Accountancy paper due to out-of-syllabus questions.
It’s advisable to regularly check the official CUET UG website and the NTA’s public notices for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding result announcements.

Steps to Challenge CUET 2025 Provisional Answer Key
Candidates have to follow the steps given below to challenge CUET 2025 answer key:
- After logging in with the credentials at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/, click on ‘View/Challenge Answer Keys’
- Questions can be viewed in sequential order
- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NTA
- To challenge one or more answer keys, candidates have to use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
- Candidates can upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload. (all documents are to be put in a single PDF file)
- Next, they have to scroll down and click on the ‘Save Your Claim’ tab and move to the next screen where all the challenged questions’ Option IDs will be visible
- Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’
- Select Mode of Payment and Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 200 for each question challenged. Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/Paytm.

About CUET
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for undergraduate admissions in participating universities across India. Previously known as CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) until 2021, it was renamed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). CUET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in applying and appearing for CUET 2025 must meet the eligibility criteria set by the NTA. The key requirements are as follows:
- Educational Qualification:– Applicants should have passed their Class 12 examination from a recognized board in Science or a relevant stream to be eligible for admission to bachelor’s degree programs offered by the Central Universities.
– Students who are currently in Class 12 and are yet to appear for their Board exams are also eligible to apply. - Age Limit:– There is no specific age limit for appearing in the CUET 2025-26 exam. However, candidates must fulfill the age criteria (if any) set by the University/Institution/Organization to which they seek admission.
- Nationality Criteria:– Candidates must be Indian citizens to be eligible for the CUET exam.
– Additionally, individuals belonging to the following categories are also eligible:
a. Constituent subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
b. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, and have settled in India with the intention of making it their permanent home.
c. Individuals from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam who have permanently migrated to India.

CUET Syllabus
CUET 2025 Section-wise Syllabus:
Section I – Language:
Reading Comprehension: Includes passages of different types – Factual, Literary, and Narrative. Questions will be based on the comprehension of these passages, literary aptitude, and vocabulary.
Section II – Domain Subject:
– Class 12 Board Exam Syllabus of the Respective Subject: This section will test the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the subject they have studied at the Class 12 level.
Section III – General Test:
General Knowledge : Questions will cover a wide range of general knowledge topics.
–Current Affairs : Topics related to recent events and developments.
General Mental Ability : Assessing the candidate’s logical and cognitive abilities.
-Numerical Ability : Questions testing basic numerical skills.
Quantitative Reasoning : Application of basic mathematical concepts in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, and statistics taught up to Grade 8.

CUET Counselling
The CUET 2025-26 counselling registration is undertaken individually by the participating institutes. Following the result declaration, each institute will release its own merit list, containing the names of qualifying candidates. Those interested in admission must complete the registration process and participate in the CUET counselling, which is expected to be conducted online. Typically, there are three rounds of counselling, although the number of rounds may vary depending on seat availability. Upon the announcement of seat allotment results, candidates who receive admission offers must confirm their acceptance by reporting to the respective institutes. They will need to get their documents verified during this process.
The CUET UG 2025 Counselling is done individually by each of the participating universities, not by NTA.
Once the result is announced, universities publish their cut-offs, merit lists, and open counselling or admission portals.
