CUET Syllabus

The NTA has released the CUET 2025-26 syllabus alongside the official notification. The syllabus for CUET is set at a level similar to that of the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. It encompasses common subjects across various courses, including English, General Aptitude, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical Skills, Reasoning, and General Knowledge.
NTA has provided a subject-wise syllabus that students must adhere to while preparing for the examination. While there was initially some confusion about the CUET UG 2025 syllabus concerning the rationalized NCERT syllabus, the exam authorities have clarified that the CUET 2025-26 syllabus will remain unchanged. Students are advised to strictly follow the syllabus officially released by NTA during their preparation for the exam.
By focusing on the designated syllabus, candidates can ensure they are adequately prepared for the CUET 2025-26 exam, increasing their chances of performing well and securing admission to their desired undergraduate courses. Aspirants should regularly check the NTA’s official website for any updates or modifications related to the CUET syllabus and examination guidelines.
CUET 2025 Section-wise Syllabus:

Section I – Language:

Reading Comprehension: Includes passages of different types – Factual, Literary, and Narrative. Questions will be based on the comprehension of these passages, literary aptitude, and vocabulary.

It is essential for aspirants to be familiar with the topics mentioned in each section to increase their chances of obtaining a good score and securing admission to their desired courses in participating institutions.

CUET Counselling

The CUET 2025-26 counselling registration is undertaken individually by the participating institutes. Following the result declaration, each institute will release its own merit list, containing the names of qualifying candidates. Those interested in admission must complete the registration process and participate in the CUET counselling, which is expected to be conducted online. Typically, there are three rounds of counselling, although the number of rounds may vary depending on seat availability. Upon the announcement of seat allotment results, candidates who receive admission offers must confirm their acceptance by reporting to the respective institutes. They will need to get their documents verified during this process.

The CUET UG 2025 Counselling is done individually by each of the participating universities, not by NTA.

Once the result is announced, universities publish their cut-offs, merit lists, and open counselling or admission portals.
